Hi, I’m Shubham Verma
I’m an RPA developer and automation engineer based in Delhi, India, with 8.5 years of experience. I design, build, test and support end-to-end automations, from the first requirement meeting to production support, across tax, compliance, finance, healthcare and insurance processes.
What I work with
- RPA & workflow automation: Microsoft Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop, UiPath
- Web & test automation: Playwright with JavaScript, browser and UI automation
- AI automation: Microsoft Copilot Studio, AI Builder, document extraction and classification
- Data & integration: SQL Server, Excel automation, APIs, data validation
- Platforms: SAP, Salesforce, Power Apps, GST / ITR / ICEGATE portals, EMR systems
Experience
- Software Development Engineer, BDO India (May 2024 – present): I design and deploy automations for tax notice and compliance processes, built a SQL Server–based configuration framework, and lead a team of 5 RPA developers.
- RPA Developer & Salesforce Administrator, TCS (Apr 2021 – May 2024): I built and supported automations across SAP and web applications, including account creation for US insurance portals, with SQL Server integration.
- AR Analyst, R1 RCM (Jan 2019 – Mar 2021): I worked in healthcare accounts receivable, and that’s where I built my first Power Automate flows.
Projects I’ve built
- Automated notice management: downloads tax notices from the ITR portal, validates them and uploads them to an internal portal.
- GST portal automation: secure login, notice retrieval, duplicate checks and SQL Server updates.
- AI-powered tax notice processing: AI Builder with Power Automate to extract, classify, validate and route documents.
- AI email classification & routing: reads incoming emails, classifies requests and sends them to the right team.
- SAP transaction automation: transaction processing and reference updates with structured exception handling and logging.
- GST challan automation with Playwright: end-to-end portal navigation, data entry and validation in JavaScript.
How I work
Good automation begins with understanding the process, not choosing a tool. I document the current workflow, its exceptions, who owns the outcome and how success will be measured. Then I choose an approach the team can maintain.
